Although Flemings Holiday Lighting is our business, you can be assured our passion is lighting up lives. Ryan, Kyle, and all staff at FHL continually embrace opportunities to use our gifts to benefit others and give back to our communities. Check out our current charitable programs.
Days of Spreading Holiday Cheer
Flemings Holiday Lighting will be sponsoring a 3nd annual “Days of Spreading Holiday Cheer” campaign.
In 2009 we light up the faces at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the VA
Hospital. In 2010 we provided lights, meals, and trees to families nominated by
friends who could use a little extra cheer.
Thank you again to previous yearsco-sponsors for your generosity:

Recycling Lights for Charity
Flemings Holiday Lighting will be sponsoring a 3nd annual “Recycle Lights for Charity” drive
In 2009 we saved 8,123 lbs from the landfills. In 2010 we collected 19,458 lbs. With
your help we can collect over 30,000 lbs in 2011. All proceeds are donated to
the Moyer Foundation: striving to improve the lives of children in distress and
enhancing their quality of life. Pass the word to family and friends to save
those unusable or unwanted lights and donate to our “Recycle Lights for Charity”
drive.
We are seeking media partners to help advertise therecycle drive and strategic donation locations.
Please contact us for moreinformation about how you can help if you are interested.
We extend our appreciations for previous

Chief Sealth Wreaths
For almost ten years, Chief Sealth High School, in conjunction with the Seattle/Chongqing Sister City Association, has been sending kids to, and hosting kids from China in a cultural exchange program with Nankai Middle School (high schools in America are called middle schools in China). To date, 41 Chief Sealth students have made the journey across the Pacific to Nankai, a city of about 6 million. Likewise, 46 Chinese students and 12 teachers have made the journey east to Seattle.
The trip has made a major impact on everyone involved. Most students involved in the program, whether Chinese or American, keep in touch with their host families, and sometimes even fly back to learn and spend more time with their former hosts.
Not only does this program broaden world views and empower our Chief Sealth kids with important life lessons, it’s an expedition that has changed lives, and continues to do so. However, as important as this trip is for so many that have gone on it, it doesn’t come cheap. Under the program, Chief Sealth students are responsible for their plane ticket and expenses for the first day in China. This portion of the trip costs about $2,500. To help with expenses, Chief Sealth students started selling wreathes as a fundraiser. The fundraiser lowers the cost of the trip to the student to about $1,200. Believing cultural understanding will be an essential attribute in Americas next generation of leaders, Flemings Holiday Lighting is proud to partner up with this program.
A portion of all 2 foot real wreaths sold through Flemings Holiday Lighting will go to support this life changing program.
The cost of each 2’ wreath is $29 plus delivery and can be ordered on our website by going to the PRODUCTS tab above and choosing WREATHS, GARLANDS AND OTHER DÉCOR. You may then submit a request through the CONTACT US box to the right and we will contact you to set up a delivery day!
