How does the bidding process work?

This all depends on the size of the project.  Smaller Commercial Projects which only involve a small amount of perimeter or tree lighting can be done without a one on one consultation.  However, for larger projects, we will have an initial meeting to go over the scope of the project and/or to brainstorm ideas, followed by a formal bid (usually within a few days).  The first thing to do is CONTACT US.

When is a good time to discuss my commercial project?

We recommend clients give us as much lead time as possible.  FHL is a year-round operation so clients are free to contact us at anytime.  However, we’d prefer to get the ball rolling on new projects before September 1st.

Who removes the lights? Who stores the lights?

We will return to remove the lights during the first 3 weeks of January, unless you request a special removal time. All lights will be stored by FHL unless client wishes to store them.

What kind of lights can I choose from?

Do we have to buy the lights from you?

No. We give our clients the option to either purchase or rent lights – whatever makes the most sense for you.

What if I have my own lights?

This is dependent on a few specific peices of informaton. Because we are committed to the highest quality of professional lighting, we prefer to know the quality and condition of the lights we are using.  When we are discussing the lighting dispaly we will ask you a series of questions to determine if we can hang the lights.

Can you handle any size commercial project?

Yes.  The ownership of this company has been responsible for the installation and upkeep of some of the largest holiday lighting displays in all of Washington.  We are a leader in the holiday lighting industry and have a wealth of knowledge in commercial installation.  Feel free to CONTACT US for references from our larger clients.  In addition, we have ties to other leaders in the lighting industry around the country.  These relationships allow us to exchange ideas, ask questions, and get answers, ultimately improving our end product to you.
